AIRANKS — The Authoritative Rankings for AI Web Content

AIRANKS measures AI visibility: we ask AI models real product and service questions, capture the complete answers as immutable observations, and publish what they contain — which brands were mentioned, which domains were cited, and which exact pages were linked. Every domain gets an AIR score from 1–10 (a decile of visibility in the active dataset; 0 means insufficient data), with the methodology in the open.

The AIR Toolbar

Click the icon, see any site's AI visibility in one click — the AIR score, the AI-file audit, and what the Machine has said about it, pulled live from airanks.net. Same ledger, same numbers, one click closer. AI Rankings: measured, not guessed.

What It Shows

  • AIR score, 1–10. A decile of AI visibility, measured from real captured AI answers — never estimated, never inferred from SEO metrics.
  • AI-file audit.llms.txt, llms-full.txt, ai.txt, ai-plugin.json, sitemap.xml, and robots.txt checked live, with per-file found/not-found status.
  • robots.txt crawler verdicts. Whether GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot are allowed or blocked, per-agent — not a single allow/deny answer.
  • The Machine's own summary. A dated paragraph in the Machine's own words about what the site is, straight from the domain report.
  • Phrases & brands, one click deeper. Counts for both, with a link straight to the full observation at airanks.net/d/{host}.

How It Works

  1. 1. Click the icon. The toolbar reads the current tab's hostname only — the activeTab permission, nothing persistent, nothing injected into the page.
  2. 2. It queries the public API. That hostname is looked up against the public airanks.net API — the same data behind every /d/{host} report.
  3. 3. It caches locally. Results are cached in the browser so repeat opens are instant, and it degrades gracefully offline or rate-limited instead of hanging or erroring.
  4. 4. That's the whole list. The only origin it ever talks to is airanks.net. No analytics, no tracking, no account required.
